Afterschool Coalition's Tutoring Program’s

 In America today, millions of young people are alone and unsupervised in the hours after school, before parents return home from work. This situation places children and teens at grave risk for juvenile crime, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, and other problems. It means students are wasting precious time when they could be learning. And it leaves millions of working parents worried about their children when they should be focused on their jobs. This unproductive, untenable and unacceptable situation would be remedied if our nation invested more fully in the after school programs that keep kids safe, support working families, and help young people succeed in school and in life.

 Godfrey Athletics and the After School Coalition offers afterschool programs for youth ages 3 to 22 at a very affordable rate.

Godfrey Athletics College Awareness Program (C.A.P) – Godfrey Athletics is aware of how intimidating and overwhelming making the decision to go to college can be. GA’s College Awareness Program will use its resources to serve as a bridge between the community and college representatives across the country. GA will become a resource to supply students with a variety of school’s requirements information, FASFA workshops, NCAA Clearinghouse workshops, college visits, and an annual college fair. The College Awareness Program’s goal is the student’s success. In this process GA will empower, encourage, and support all who are interested in bettering themselves and their futures by obtaining their dream of college.
